Superstars often are not thought to have hobbies, as we see them in movies and television portraying so many different personalities. However, actors do have interests beyond the big screen and this poses the question of one of those Hollywood icons, what are the Brad Pitt hobbies? Aside from the assumption that Brad Pitt hobbies are acting and producing movies, what is it that Brad really enjoys when he is not entangled in another movie production?

Through magazine and news interviews, Brad has revealed many of the activities that he enjoys when not portraying the likable characters we familiarize ourselves with on the silver screen. Brad Pitt hobbies include some of the same interests he had when he was in high school. Brad was a member of the swim team as well as the Golf and Tennis teams. Those past Brad Pitt hobbies are still in his occasional agenda as he enjoys those activities when his schedule permits.

Although his interests in other early activities are no longer a fascination, early Brad Pitt hobbies included the Forensics Club in high school. Brad obviously had a love for writing and marketing, as his major in College was Journalism with a minor in advertising.

Present Brad Pitt hobbies include Interior design and architecture as he has revealed a love for the work of famed Architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Brad has notably made a practice of buying functional metal art pieces and furniture for his home.

Of course, many Brad Pitt hobbies are less publicized, he has a great appreciation for music, and occasionally will play his guitar. More revealing Brad Pitt hobbies involve his passion for traveling the world. Recently, he and his family have spent a great deal of time in Germany and France where the family has a chateau.

One thing that could be added to the list of Brad Pitt hobbies may be the collection of movie and film Awards, since he was recently nominated for an Oscar in his blockbuster hit ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’. He can add that to his collection of more than 40 other film awards.

Regardless of which Brad Pitt hobbies he is engaged in, one of the most significant and cherished Brad Pitt hobbies as admitted by Brad, himself, is spending time with his children. While Brad enjoys many activities, he has found his favorite pasttime is with his family.
