Comic-Con 08 will be missing some big movie previews for the upcoming year

Comic-Con International: San Diego, commonly known as Comic-Con or the San Diego Comic-Con is where many main stream Hollywood action / sci-fi movies make sneak previews for upcoming blockbusters. Some of the most anticipated big action / sci-fi movies for next year will be missing their sneak previews at this years Comic-con.

It is being reported that “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” and “Star Trek XI” will not have new sneak previews for either movie. It’s understandable is some respects for “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” since it has been in production a lot less time but, nothing for “Star Trek XI”? J.J. Abrams was able to put something together for “Cloverfield”, which may have been a way to bring in the “Star Trek” fans to boost sales. The news around the net is that J.J. Abrams was unhappy with the special effects at this point so he did not want to put out a low quality trailer just to have something ready for Comic-Con.
