I Want to Go Home: Lyrical author-actor Green plays a compulsive American cartoonist who voyages to Paris for an craft gallery show-and to see his alienated baby girl Benson. Depardieu, an exuberant admirer, brings him to his mommy’s nation home for the weekend. Written by Jules Feiffer, with a score by John Kander, this Franco-American curio is appallingly poor. Cast includes Adolph Green, Gerard Depardieu, Linda Lavin, Laura Benson, Micheline Presle, and Ludivine Sagnier. (101 minutes, 1989)

Slave Ship: 92 Slave Ship is an exciting story of a slave transport mutiny with an acclaimed author vitally harmed when on safari in Africa, trying to see if he discovered some meaning to his past. The film is based on Hemingway tale. Cast includes Warner Baxter, Wallace Beery, Elizabeth Allan, Mickey Rooney, George Sanders, and Jane Darwell. (92 minutes, 1937)

No Country For Men: Llewelyn Moss walks into a scene of death. A drug deal went bad and everyone’s dead. He grabs the suitcase full of money and walks away. A deranged man is aware that Moss has the money, and is killing everyone he confronts, as he chases down Moss and the money.

Sappy and the Stinkers: Silly tale of a group of entirely, irresponsibly unsupervised nerdy 7-year-olds saving an ocean lion contrary to his will. During the voyage they pester the head of their boarding school with their pranks. An entirely unfunny comedy, and a trash of ability on both sides of the camcorder. Cast includes Bronson Pinchot, Jennifer Coolidge, David Dukes, and Sam McMurray. (78 minutes, 1998)

College Road Trip: Melanie is off to college soon. The question is which one. She plans a road trip with her girlfriends so they can check out some colleges. When her Police Chief father insists on going along for the ride, the dream trip turns into a nightmare of a comedy.

You, Me And Dupre: Just settling into their new marriage Carl and Molly run into a problem. Dupre, best man at their wedding, is down on his luck and needs a place to stay.

Black Narcissus: Visually sumptuous, dramatically charged film, from a Rumer Godden novel. Nuns are trying to develop a mission in a remote Himalayan outpost among difficult visible and spiritual tests. One of the most amazing color films ever made (deserved Oscars for cinematographer Jack Cardiff and Alfred Junge). Scenes in which Sister Better Kerr recollects her prior life was eliminated from the US version. Cast includes Deborah Kerr, David Farrar, Jean Simmons, and Kathleen Byron. (100 minutes, 1999)
